Peanut Butter Brownies

A while back I made these delicious better than box mix Brownies. They were great, and they have been my go to recipe ever since. Today, however, I decided to put a bit of a spin on the old recipe.

To be honest, it’s a very minor spin, BUT it does add loads of flavour—and for someone who isn’t such a big fan of chocolate, the nuttiness of the peanut butter takes these brownies to another level.

I made these last week and they were pretty much eaten in a day. Note to self: always make 2 batches.

Now I know I made brownies before, but I promise these are different. For one, they are not fudgy, and secondly, they are really easy to make. So if you love box brownie mix, then this is the recipe for you (minus all the preservatives).

Fudge Brownies with Chocolate Frosting + Walnuts

Prepare yourselves because we are about to go on a chocolate journey.

First stop, Fudge Brownies—not to be confused with Cake-like Brownies, because if I wanted chocolate cake, I would make chocolate cake (in fact, we will make chocolate cake- so stay tuned)

As I have previously mentioned, I'm not a huge chocolate fan. But when I do go for some chocolate, I definitely want it to pack a punch. Confession: before today, I had never made brownies from scratch. And although this recipe isn’t as easy as preparing the Betty Crocker Brownies mix, the results are well worth the effort.
