Marble Poundcake

Yum

You all know poundcakes are my favourite, so I don’t think this cake needs any kind of introduction. Chocolate ü Vanilla ü Moist ü I have found the perfect accompaniment to coffee.

Peanut Butter Brownies

Yum
A while back I made these delicious better than box mix Brownies. They were great, and they have been my go to recipe ever since. Today, however, I decided to put a bit of a spin on the old recipe.

To be honest, it’s a very minor spin, BUT it does add loads of flavour—and for someone who isn’t such a big fan of chocolate, the nuttiness of the peanut butter takes these brownies to another level.

Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Frosting

Yum
I have my laptop back and I'm ready to roll!

I recently watched Matilda. And honestly, any time I watch that movie, I automatically want to eat Chocolate Cake-probably because of the scene where Trunchbull makes Bruce eat all of the cake. For those who have never seen Matilda (what a shame), or don't remember the scene I'm talking about, I'll refresh your memories:

Love that movie
Anyway, I finally mustered up the courage to make my own Chocolate Cake. Pretty sure it was the best thing I had eaten that whole week.

Better than box mix Brownies

Yum
Back to Baking!

I made these last week and they were pretty much eaten in a day. Note to self: always make 2 batches.

Now I know I made brownies before, but I promise these are different. For one, they are not fudgy, and secondly, they are really easy to make. So if you love box brownie mix, then this is the recipe for you (minus all the preservatives).

Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yum

For today’s recipe I thought I’d add some chocolate into the mix. And what better way to represent chocolaty goodness than with some simple chocolate chip cookies.

For the longest time I thought had the best chocolate chip cookie recipe—that is, until I found this one. I’ve talked about my love for soft and chewy cookies, and although I'm not a super fan of chocolate, these cookies by  Baker Bettie fulfil all of my requirements perfectly.

Just a little tip: I suggest you have company over before you attempt to bake these, or else you will end up eating the whole lot. YES, they are that amazing, Consider yourselves warned.

One more tip: you better have your cup of milk on standby. You will need it!
